They brew the perfect coffee. The water temperature is ideal. It’s like the appliance knows what type of coffee I’ve got, and it heats the water just right. I swear to God, I have never drunk a better coffee. Maybe just from those espresso machines in coffee shops.

The non-drip feature is actually non-drip. Before discovering Bunn, all my coffee makers were non-drip, but only on the label. In reality, every time I removed the carafe to pour myself a cup of coffee, a few drops would always fall on the heated plate. And when that happened, I had to scrub a lot to get it off. It was very annoying. But to this day, that never happened to one of my Bunn coffee makers.

They always have hot water, just in case you are in a hurry and need the coffee instantly. It lasts only three minutes to brew the perfect beverage. It really comes in handy when you are late for work, and you need to get out of the house in 5 minutes.
Last but not least, they are very easy to clean. I have never owned a coffee maker that had a removable water container before. I mean, I could wash the carafe, the filter, and the stand of the filter, but never the water tank. But with Bunn coffee makers you can do that. You can actually remove it and give it a proper wash. You know how coffee particles can get in there and the water always seems dirty. But not this time. Not with this coffee maker.

You must imagine that this is a difficult task for me, to choose only three Bunn coffee makers. I am practically in love with the brand, so it was a tough choice. But I did it, and here is what I came up with.
Bunn GRB Velocity Brew 10-cup Home Coffee Brewer
I chose to start with the Bunn GRB Velocity Brew 10-cup I currently own, and I must say, I have never seen a coffee maker brewing so fast. It can make 10 cups of coffee, which is an entire pot, in only 3 minutes. Can you imagine? It’s not called Velocity Brew for anything. That may be because there is always hot water in the steel tank. It’s some sort of standby feature for coffee makers, I guess.
The drip-free carafe with a proprietary lid can only be found on Bunn coffee makers. They designed and patented a lid that makes spilling impossible. If the coffee is about to spill, it will just dribble back into the carafe. Simple as that. Making a mess with this coffee maker is impossible. Believe me, I tried. I wanted to test it. And it checked out.
Unlike regular coffee makers, this Bunn product doesn’t just pour hot water over the coffee. It sprays it, so the hot water will reach the ground coffee evenly. It’s like a shower, just for coffee grounds. And you may think that it doesn’t make a difference, but it does. Usually, a regular coffee maker pours water into the center of the filter, meaning that the coffee on the sides will hardly be touched by it. Yes, it’s wet when you take it out, but that doesn’t mean it was squeezed of its taste. And so the coffee will not be as good. Other features include a flat bottom filter and funnel. Also, the heated plate will maintain your coffee warm for a while.
The brewer itself is very durable. I put the carafe in the dishwasher, The whole thing looks and feels sturdy. It’s not one of those wobbly coffee makers that you find at a supermarket. It may seem a bit pricey, but trust me, it’s worth it. In the long run, you save money. You won’t be buying a new coffee maker anytime soon.

Bunn BXB Velocity Brew 10-Cup Home Coffee Brewer
I chose this one because it seems similar to mine. Whenever I see “Velocity” in the title, I can only think of how fast this coffee maker can brew your favorite beverage. Three minutes is a very short time in which to fill a fresh pot. Trust me, I’ve seen way worse than this.
The difference between this one and the former is that it comes with a new Pour-O-Matic drip-free glass decanter. It may not seem much to you, but don’t you ever get annoyed by the fact that you sometimes spill coffee on your counter or table? I used to. I don’t want to exaggerate, but it has the potential of ruining your day. Which is why I love this feature on Bunn coffee makers.
Just as in the previous model, the BXB sprays water over the ground coffee, it doesn’t just pour it. That will ensure maximum flavor extraction. If you go from your old coffee maker to this one (or any other Bunn product), you will surely notice the difference. I sure did. This too has a stainless steel internal hot water tank. It keeps the water heated for optimal brewing at a temperature of 200º F. It can brew a minimum of 4 cups and a maximum of 10. You don’t have to worry that you brewed too much. The porcelain-coated warming plate can be used to keep your coffee warm but to reheat it as well. All you have to do is press a button, and your coffee will be hot again in no time.

Bunn MCU Single Cup Multi-Use Home Coffee Brewer
This model is different and the reason I chose it is that I plan on buying it soon. Not because mine broke, but because I want to try k-cup coffee packs brewed by my favorite brand of coffee makers. I drank this kind of coffee before, and I really enjoyed it, but then I thought that it must taste better made by a Bunn.
So, this single-cup coffee maker brews anything from K-cup packs to ground coffee, tea pods or bags, or even loose tea. It has a drawer for all of those. They are included in the package, so you don’t have to buy them separately.
It’s really fast, it can brew a cup of coffee in under a minute. Sure, it makes less coffee than a coffee maker, but that is why it’s called a single cup. They are ideal for people who get out of the house early in the morning and don’t have time to sip their coffee. Following the same thought, the drip tray is completely removable, so if you want to brew your coffee directly into the travel mug, you can. The space is big enough to accommodate all travel mugs.
The MCU single cup uses a Pulse-Brew technology that can extract a much bolder version than regular single-cup coffee makers. Personally, I can’t wait to try it.

My Bunn coffee maker recommendation for home use
I think it’s pretty obvious, isn’t it? Of course, I am going to recommend my personal favorite, which is Bunn GRB Velocity Brew 10-cup Home Coffee Brewer. After years of faithful service, I can honestly say that this is the best Bunn coffee maker ever made for home use. I am waiting to see how the single cup works, but I’m sure I’m in for a treat.

I find it amazing that there are so many ways to make a simple cup or multiple cups of coffee.
